Okay boys and girls, now it's time to show off your use of idioms. No, I didn't say idiots!!! Remember, idioms mean something other that what the actual words "say". When I say that it is raining cats and dogs, I don't mean that cats and dogs are falling from the sky do I? No, I mean that it is raining really hard. Now, it is your turn. Give me and idiom and tell me what it means.
Ex.) Mrs. Bendall has had a frog in her throat this week. This means that Mrs. Bendall has sounded funny talking all week because she is sick.
Good luck and happy idiom writing!
