Personification

Hello wonderful students!
Today we learned about personification. Personification is when a writer gives human qualities to something that is not human. For example, I could say that the leaves on a tree danced to the ground. Can leaves dance? No, humans dance. This means that the leaves fell to the ground, but I personified the leaves when I said that they could dance.

Now, you try. Take an object and personify it!

I can't wait to see how creative you can be!!!
